Τίτλος: Loops in AdS and the Wilson-Fisher BCFT

Περίληψη: A conformal field theory in the presence of a boundary (BCFT) can be mapped by a conformal transformation to the equivalent problem of studying the CFT in anti de Sitter (AdS) space. I will use this approach to analyze the Wilson-Fisher fixed point of the O(N) model with a boundary. In particular, I will discuss the calculation of the free energy of the CFT in AdS space using the epsilon expansion, and use it to extract predictions for the boundary central charge and other observables of the BCFT in three dimensions.
