Τίτλος: Wess Zumino action and Casimir energy of N=1 Superconformal Field Theories

Περίληψη: In this talk I will start with an  introduction to anomalies using the unified framework of  gauged symmetries. Next I will be focusing on Superconformal anomalies as an application. In the main core of the talk I will first define the Casimir energy of Superconformal Field Theories (SCFTs) through the supersymmetry algebra and how it receives contributions from anomalies. Next by giving a general introduction to Wess-Zumino (WZ) anomaly action, some simple examples of growing complication will be presented,  concluding with the WZ-action of N=1 SCFTs as our main aim. Discrepancy of our Casimir energy with the rest of bibliography, its  relation to  the Wess-Zumino action evaluated at different schemes and how  WZ-action contributes towards the resolution of this mismatch  will be emphasized.
